Harry Potter Appreciation

Harry Potter has the quality of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the popularity of CSI. I wonder whether we'll ever get to witness a TV show that can do the same.
When I think about it, the Harry Potter book series is so amazingly well done. It has some of the liveliest characters in recent memory; but more importantly, the series is really well plotted (except the time travel aspect of book 3, but who cares). It's well written, too. It's really the holy grail of YA series - even though there's the typical fanboy crowd, there is absolutely no reason to ever be ashamed of being a Harry Potter fan.
